Damon

Johnny Damon is .... well ... sucking right now. I know the Yanks are on a hot streak, but they need to put Cabrera at the top of the order and let Johnny take a rest and figure out where his swing went. Otherwise, I don't know how long this awesome streak can last.

I'm pretty sure if this is how the Yankees are doing with Damon sucking and without changing their order, you should be pretty happy right now. The streak has already lasted far too long. :P Now I'm off to figure out what the crap is up with the Red Sox right now. :(

Hahaha!! I'm just saying: I'm glad we're off to a good start after the All-Star break, but keep in mind that since that fateful day we haven't played a team with an average over .500. That won't happen until August, either. If Damon is failing to swing the bat and this rut continues, the potential for missing the play-offs (for the first time in 13 years -- we've made 12 consecutive appearances.) is a lot higher. You want to piss off the Bombers' fans: miss the playoffs.

Oh, I forgot to mention that Damon's RBI's have improved and his base-running is alright. He's sitting in Left, where Hideki should be but the verdict is out on what's going to happen to him when Giambi finally returns. I guess we will see.

No Yankees in the playoffs would be a dream come true! Sorry that it would not be for you. I guess I spoke too soon seeing as the tables turned last night. I thought they put Damon at first. I have no idea what's going on.
